Terms & Conditions
At Glow Bambino, the Health & Safety of our customers is our top priority and we recognise the additional need to support and protect young babies and children. The following information details what we do to ensure your sessions are carried out in a safe and hygienic environment.
Risk Assessments
• Written risk assessments are carried out for all regular session locations.
• A visual risk assessment is carried out before each session.
• Unless forewarned of a fire drill, any fire alarm must be assumed to be genuine.
• Toilet facilities are provided. Please let us know if these are not clean.
• Parents / carers are kindly asked to keep bags, jackets etc. out of the session space to ensure the area is free from slip and trip hazards. These can be left, at your own risk, in a designated space in the venue.
• Parents / carers are kindly asked to remove their shoes and, wherever possible wear socks, when in the session space.
• If you or your little one are unwell with any contagious illness, you must not attend the session.
• Glow Bambino have always used the strictest of cleaning procedures for all items and areas used in sessions. However, the cleaning of these items will be enhanced by the use of Zoono products (or equivalent) that is 99.99% effective against bacteria and viruses, protecting surfaces for up to 28 days, as well as additional cleaning materials.
• Parents / carers are kindly asked to use hand sanitiser at the start and end of each session, as well as throughout as necessary.
• We ask any parent / carer or child displaying Covid-19 symptoms or any other contagious condition NOT to attend the session.
• Similarly, if you or your child have been in contact with anyone who has either tested positive or is displaying symptoms, please do not attend the session.
• We advise parents / carers that, whilst we take all measures within our control to safeguard against infection, attendance at Glow Bambino sessions is at the customer’s own risk.
Resources
• All sensory items are thoroughly cleaned between sessions.
• Session leaders start each session with clean hands and have socks on or wear shoes that are only used inside the space.
• All equipment is checked for cleanliness and safety before each session.
• Some of the sensory items we use are not toys and some are age 3+ due to containing batteries or smaller parts. As such, all of our sessions are designed for babies and children to be fully supervised by their parent / carer whilst exploring and we may, at times, suggest that some items are only handled by adults and / or are not mouthed by babies / children. Participation in sessions is on the understanding of this and that parents / carers remain fully responsible for their own child / children at all times.
• As far as possible, electronic equipment is kept away from babies / children. LED lighting is used which has very low heat emissions, making it particularly safe for use around babies / children. However, we kindly ask that parents / carers do not let babies / children touch any lighting or other electrical items.
• UV lighting or strobes are not used due to the fragile nature of young developing eyes.
• Any food / drink provided is bought in or prepared in hygienic environments but is not guaranteed to be free of allergens, including nuts. Please do not feel obliged to participate in the refreshment time if you have somewhere to be. If you do choose to participate, we just kindly ask that the space is vacated by the end of your session / before the start of the next session.
